From time to time I sell parts from my inventory. These are parts that I have salvaged from parts trucks or car I have obtained in the process of restoring my vehicles. I am not a dealer and I do not plan on getting rich by selling used parts. I want to get rid of the excess parts and make a few bucks to help in the restoration of my projects. I do not have a great stock pile of parts but wish to get rid of the parts I will not be using. I can't guarantee it, but, if you need a part email me and if I have it I will let you know.

I am not an expert on all car and truck parts. I will describe the parts I have for sale as best as I can. I am leaving it up to you, the interested party, to decide if the parts I have for sale will work for your application.

All parts are price plus all shipping fees. I will usually ship UPS because that is the easiest for me. If a part is very large and can most economically shipped via Greyhound I will add an additional $25 handling fee because I have to package the part and deliver it to the Greyhound station which is a 25 mile one way trip from my location.

Parts are sold "As Is". All sales are final, no returns.

All prices are OBO, shoot me an offer, the worst that'll happen is I'll refuse it. I will also take trades for parts for '48-52 Ford trucks and a '37 Buick or any other item that might tweak my interest. Please, if you email with a question about a part, insert the part name in the subject line of your email so I might be able to tell you're not a scammer.

If you're scammer please don't send a message about "The Item". I will only screw with you for a while and waste your time. I'll probably even have you send me a check for 50% more than the asking price to cover shipping. Even if a member of your family is dying I won't send you the extra money back.

Panel truck for sale

1941 Buick and newer hub caps-$125

I bought these hub caps for my 1937 Buick from a person on eBay. In his ad he said he bought them for his 1937 Buick but found they were for 16" wheels and his Buick had 15" wheels. The wheels I am using are 16" from a 1940 Buick. I thought they would fit so I bought them but after I got them I tried to install them on my 16" wheels and they didn't fit. I was told later that these caps are for 1941 and up Buicks. They are in pretty nice shape, they have a few specs on the fronts. They would be very nice for a driver but would need to be rechromed for a show car. These sell new for $70 a piece.

1937 Buick four door sedan front doors-$150

These doors are from a four door 1937 Buick Special or Century. Roadmaster and Limited models are different. They also may fit other GM cars, Oldsmobile and Pontiac of the same vintage but I am not sure. I was told the GM cars shared body parts, I am leaving it up to you to decide if these will fit your car.

They need work but are in pretty good condition for parts from a 70+ year old car. They have surface rust and some rust out at the bottoms but are complete with all the inner mechanisms that work. They are missing exterior door handles and the glass will need to be replaced.

I am asking $150 for the pair OBO. Will consider trade for other '37 Buick parts or '48-50 Ford truck parts.

I prefer that the doors be picked up at my location but I will ship. I will not give shipping costs, it is up to you to arrange all shipping. I will strap to a pallet and load onto a truck. The door measures roughly 40"Wx48"Hx8"D, and weighs about 60 lbs each.

Driver's side front door

Driver's side front door

The following parts came out of a 1940 Buick Coupe. I bought these parts along with a bunch of other parts that I am using on my 1937 Buick build. These '40 parts do not fit my '37. The person I bought the '40 parts from told me he was street rodding the couple and wasn't going to use these parts. He told me the Coupe was restored within the last ten years and had very low mileage, the parts are in almost like new condition and have a lot of life left in them.

In addition to the parts I have listed below I also have the following items I will sell as soon as I remove the parts I am keeping and plan to use on my '37. I will be using the '40 brake systyem parts for my '37:

  • Front suspension, including shocks, lower control arms, brake backing plates and spindles-$100

1940 Buick clutch pressure plate and disc-$100

This clutch assembly came out of a low mileage 1940 Buick Coupe.

1940 Buick flywheel-$50

This flywheel is in very good condition, the ring gear is worn on one side but could easily be flipped to use the other side for a another 70+ years of service. I did this with the flywheel in my '37, it took a hot torch and bout 15 minutes. The procedure is detailed in the shop manual.

1940 Buick transmission bell housing-$75

1940 Buick clutch release fork and rod-$20

1940 Buick front engine mounting plate with motor mount-$50

This plate comes with the two front motor mounts, they will need to be revulcanized but will be good for cores.

1940 Buick transmission crossmember-$15

Please note, I do not have the rubber insulated mount, it has been sold. This listing is only for the crossmember, "U" bracket and rod.
